Love the Billy Joel comment, but he never got to the story as to why he was talking to Billy about Richie, as they got sidetracked!
Still so angry RD! We all know Richie should have given the band time to prepare if he was going to leave the band, and if he knew he was going I'm sure he would have. Something happened to make him just not show up one day after 30 years. We'll probably never know what. We've only heard a small part of that story...
A lot of the same stories from Jon we've heard many times. It's obvious he and Stern are good friends, so I can see why he chose him on that level.
Love the fact that he basically said screw the record company, play it! I'm sure they had an exclusive play organised somewhere. Either that or it was all just a planned skit...

No, Not mad...Just rehashing...Some people feel bad for Richie because he was soooo overworked but Howard and Robin just solidified that he was a dick for doing what he did... Jon did say that Richie had issues.. Anyway.....
So if Jon did win the Buffalo Bills bid and essentially became an owner, he would have had to quit the music business... I guess for those who want Jon to continue, you have to thank Trump!!!
