That show was never broadcast live on the BBC, just about an hour of supposedly highlights of the show. The original BBC Broadcast is in wide circulation. You were never listening to a direct live broadcast, even the order of songs was changed for the radio broadcast.

Ah ok. Well whatever it was I had it on a TDK 90

To be honest, I don't even think Cadillac Man & We All Sleep Alone are that great of songs (especially during that time period) and are wayyyyy overrated around here but there are 3 reason why I want them in at least Soundboard or Studio quality....

1. Anything Jon put his vocals to during 88 to 92 (and even a few years before and after) is a treasure. We all know it, there is no reason to expand on that.

2. It's my goal to capture the perfect collect when it comes to Originals and Covers in terms of quality. Realistically, that will never happen because there are too many coves that we'll never get in SB but it could happen with the originals (that I have so far). The 2 above, Soul Truth, Life's Too Short, Shadow Dancing, Good Ain't Good, & Mona Lisa. I kinda gave up on In America and there are obviously some of the demos from Slippery etc.

3. As a fan, Hammersmith is a piece of history and it's something that we should all have in some sort of copy. If the video can't be salvaged, then a nice bonus CD would suffice. There are too many coves so to get permission, it's probably a pain. And then once they pay out all the royalties, the release won't make any $.... However, they should at least throw it out there for free.

Im still totally obsessed with everything about this gig/gigs .... Would love more stories info setlists ect from it ! anyone here actually go ? I love Cadillac man still , just listened for the 1000th time

For me, one of the best performances releases was MTV An Evening 1992, and recently, the Rehearsal was filtered in youtube. Who knows, someday could be filtered Hammersmith Odeon nights.

I hate to be pessimistic but I think it's much more likely that those leaks came from someone at MTV rather than in the Jovi camp. Having said that stranger things have happened and I would love to see a soundboard version of Hammersmith come out.

Would love a Blu Ray of this.

the optimist in me still believes that jon doesnt fully realise how much we d treasure a release like this...he obviously doesnt want to promote his 80s self but maybe he doesnt realise how good they were in the 80s and 90s, otherwise he wouldnt be peoud about the wan tour...
ps.having said that he obviously knows just doesnt want to admit cause a band cant achieve these heights by raw talent alone.
