Nah, definitely not. There better records in 2005 and 2006, even if you only consider hard rock albums.

I love Bon Jovi and they are my favourite band, but seriously, it is definitely NOT album of the year.

Bon Jovi are a singles band first and foremost, and there's filler on most of their albums - I like all the songs myself, but really, there are much better albums released this year.

That said, that's what I love about Jovi - they write hits.

WTF !!!!
How can someone say that the BJ are a singles driven band . They have made atleast 2 albums which not had a single bad song or a filler.

This is what is wrong with alot of the American audiences. They see BJ as a 'singles band', which shows at a gig when they all look dumbfounded when the band breaks into Blood on blood, Wild is the wind, these days, living in sin etc etc and make for the bar/ toilet.

It's sad really when the 'fans' only take to the singles.

Anyway, HAND is a great album but not the best iv got in the past year. Top 5 maybe..

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

I would say THESE DAYS is the only filler-free record. It actually, should be FILLED with BITTER WINE and ALL I WANT IS EVERYTHING!

Nah, Bitter Wine sucks. TD actually has many fillers - basically the complete second half, minus a few exceptions. NJ is filler free, but that's it.

Look, I LOVE Bon Jovi. I own all the albums, a lot of singles with demos, the boxed set, etc. I listen to the albums through and through and truly love them (I don't feel I have to love them because I'm a fan, but I enjoy listening to them and really like them)

I like the singles and the album tracks, and hey, sometimes I like the album tracks better than the singles.

I went to all four T.O. shows, and went CRAZY when Livin' In Sin and Wild Is The Wind were played.

But hey, Bon Jovi are a singles band first and foremost. They have good album tracks as well, but they are definitely known as a singles band because their singles KICK ASS. Bon Jovi are so cool because they don't just write songs, they write hit after hit after hit....

But they aren't Pink Floyd or The Beatles. Blame it On The Love of Rock and Roll is not up to par with Prayer for example

Then again, Maxwell's Silver Hammer is not up to par with Hey Jude, but I digress...lol
