Now that, I don't agree with in the least bit. As a fan of Green Day's earlier music, I think American Idiot is simply a pop record with nothing new to offer at all.

Green Day never were pure punk, even in the early 90s (yes, before Dookie) they were pop-punkish. And they always were overrated.

Also, HAND does not sound like AI. Neither the riff nor the melody.
