thats cheating releasing 2.... it didnt work when they did it for.... um was it everyday.... I didn realise everyone had started doing it, there should be a rule that only one is allowed to force them put all the stuff on one cd and stop taking the peoples money, greedy gits.

No-one is forcing you to buy them Dawn. Yes they could put it all on one disc, but they don't. Some people might not want all the bonus material so would just buy one of them, some might want both.

Aloha !

If they put all the stuff on one CD it doesn't count in the charts. Singles are only allowed to have a maximum of 3 tracks in order to count for the charts. This is for the UK only. The rule is made because artists started to release mini albums as singles, which got them a bigger chance of getting in the charts, as their single was in fact the whole album, and therefore it was considered as cheating towards other artists.

sebs got it bang on.

there's alot of rules and regulatiosn with the British charts with whats allowed and what isn't and the amount of tracks and duration of the cd in total is one of them hence why people release 2 singles most of the time.
