Same feelings for me - Whole Lot of Leavin' just might be my all time favourite BJ song. I remember when I first heard the snippet - I literally got goose bumps.

Initially I hated this album, but now I think it's brilliant. I love the title track, Make a Memory, Any Other Day, Everybody's Broken, The Last Night, and One Step Closer. I believe I Love This Town would not be as hated as it is if it wasn't played in the encore of every third show on The Circle and BWC tours. Seat Next to You and Whole Lot of Leavin' are just ok, and We Got it Going On is a useless turd (sorry everyone who likes it).

The bonus tracks are amazing. The album as a whole would be perfect if Put the Boy Back in Cowboy replaced We Got it Going on, Lonely replaced Seat Next to You, and Walk Like a Man replaced I Love This Town.

I love this album. LOVE. When it was released, it was at a time in my life where the lyrics really spoke to me. It felt like Jon wrote Everybody's Broken just for me. I needed this album.

I'm sick and tired of hearing LH and Follow live, but that's because they're way overplayed, not because they're not good songs.

A lot of people hate WGIGO, but I love it. It's fun.

AOD and WLOL are fantastic.

Memory is the best song on the album.

But ILTT sucks.

It's nice to see LH getting all this love...

Someone should assign each generation of Bon Jovi fan a name... If you became a fan in the...

80's - Old Schoolers
90's - .....
00's - .....
10's - .....

Never mind. It would probably be too confusing for new members

This might be the right place for this question:

http://old.jamaica-gleaner.com/glean.../ent/ent1.html

The record was held back last minute, 5 more songs were written and two made the album. Does anyone know which 2 it was? There's video footage of them recording I Love This Town, Walk Like A Man and The Last Night so I don't think it's any of those. Is there any way to check which songs were registered for copywrite last?

Memory is a great song. Great video too. AOD & WLOL are very solid. Lonely is fantastic. Few fillers, but overall I really enjoy this album.

I THINK everybody is broken is one of them, richie stated that jon continued writing while richie thought they were done. i have mixed feelings about the album, good songwriting but the whole country twang didnt really worked with me, also some fillers that put down the album.
it took me some time to realise how sucesful this album was for bj for the time being. huge tour, nice sales, wider audience in us for sure. i loved some songs, like memory anyother day and whole lot of leaving studio version but i remember how much i hated wgigo the first time i listened to it...lol...now i m bored to death with lost highway live, i prefer wgigo and i watch on repeat the any other day richie solo in 2007 london o2, truly legendary moment for all of us, not only the band.

ps.i wonder what jon and rich would feel about that clip now.,

Good call! The two songs Richie had nothing to do with writing wise was Everybody's Broken and Whole Lot of Leaving, which is the reason Lonely didn't make it

Hmmm. Who knows. God I love Lonely though.

Yes, Follow. The bonus track on the Zimbabwe version, later to be included as an album track on the band's next studio album. Similar to We Don't Run, except in reverse - which of course first appeared as an album track, and then as a bonus track on the next album.

Or maybe I just got my wires crossed because they've been permanent fixtures on the past God knows how many setlists and I'm sick to death of hearing them both.

But thanks for calling me out Rd! Super grateful we have the World's Most Knowledgable Bon Jovi Fan around to make sure insignificant errors like this don't go unnoticed! What would this board do without you?!!
