New CD's are, but there are many second hand CD shops around, and since Japan gets so many limited edition and Japan only things it is inevitable that some of these end up in these second hand shops. I think Japan is the second largest market in the world for music, but I believe that per head it is the largest.

I have seen a few Aerosmith rareties too that were cheap: Just Push Play with bonus live CD for 1500, A Little South of Sanity in a case made from cotton, with the Aerosmith logo on the front for 2000 etc.

I see. Here in Holland we've got a few second hand shops, but they mostly sell the regular stuff for 1/4 of the price. I wish I had someone living in Japan who was willing to send me those things. No krb it wasn't a hint. (but it would be nice yes :P)

There's a difference for me between collecting and appreciating.
I want my collection to be as complete as possible whether I like the music or not.
That's the sad thing when you once started collecting: either you say at one point "stop" or you have to buy things you don't really like.

I was only joking, I've bought the Japanese version of TLFR because I want my collection to be complete as well. It sucks.
