Has anyone ever met the band?

I've met Hugh and Bobby in Dublin 2006 and Tico in London this year.

The O2 arrival on the ferry was the closest I've ever got to meeting the guys. We were 4ft away as they climbed in their cars to take them back to their hotel.

I'm not exactly hung up on ever meeting them. It'd be great to chat to Richie about guitar stuff but, to be honest, they all seem like decent, likeable guys so you could probably chat to them about anything if you were lucky enough to bump into them.

I'd rather meet Richie than Jon. I like Jon but he seems like the most likely to be in a bad mood, the others seem more approachable.

My friend's brother and my ex are mates with the Perth support band but that's as close as I've ever been.

I think Tico seems like zee most approachable. Dun ask me why. He's just... ya know... <extra super double cool>

Well Bobby isn't about to tell you to piss off either.

But he's not as cool as Tico or Richie.

And did I say any of them would tell me to piss off? I'm sure they'd all tell you to. Annoying, frustrating little egg.

I'd rather ask if I can pat him or Richie. If I was ever to be dared to pat someone of course, not out of free will...
