I don’t think whoever responded gets what he meant by “fat Elvis.” At the end of his life, Elvis was manipulated into touring when he was not well. He was influenced by people who took advantage of him by making him think he could take uppers to do his job and downers to sleep. Elvis was a people pleaser and it wound up killing him. He was not happy or anywhere near healthy when he died. His health, family, and career all ended in a depressing mess, even as the King of Rock n Roll.
