Default Hearts Breaking Even live?

So today I watched a video where Jon talked about all songs on "These Days" album and he said he really looked forward to playing Hearts Breaking Even live . So why was it never played live?

Man, I wish they played it live at least once! One of my fave BJ songs ever!

I guess the hearts were mended on the way, that's why the song was dropped from the setlists *yay!* :P

It has some high notes, even for 95 Jon, so it was probably not played to protect Jon voice on tour.

Always was a hit. Not a good comparison at all.

Exactly. Perhaps Jon felt it wasn't worth it, because not only it wasn't a hit (like Always), nor an "epic" song (like My Guitar Lies Bleeding In My Arms).

Even in the mid 90s he was probably aware of his limitations and knew he had to pace himself.

If I remember it right it was sounchecked back on the TD Tour but never picked. I kind of get it though. I love the song, but it's neither upbeat enough to be a fast pace song, and it's not slow enough to be a ballad. Wouldn't add much for the show and on top of that it has some of the most crazy notes I've heard Jon sing on an album.

They could also play If That's What It Takes, even if it's acoustic.

I think they should make an unplugged playing this:

Secret Dreams
She Don't Know Me
What you Want?
Without Love
Edge of a Broken Heart
Backdoor to Heaven
Cadillac Man (Now I know what it is)
Miracle
Dyin' Ain't Much of a Livin'
Save a Prayer
I Want You
Bitter Wine
If That's What it Takes
Hearts Breaking
She's a Mystery
Maybe Someday
We Can Dance
I am
Walk Like a Man
--------Encore--------
Love is War
Real Life
Starting All Over Again (Final)

Jon Bon Jovi
Richie Sambora
Tico Torres
David Bryan
Hugh McDonald

I would love to see a concert like this! I know they won't but let me dreamupp ydog:
