that rumor goes all around the world at the moemnt it`s also in a german paper (tv media I think) and in an american paper the national enquirer they say they got that info from friends of Richie and heather.

According to pals, the couples marriage went off track last year when
richie had a hiatus from bon jovi - but heather spent the better part of
the year working on the series LAX and her film The perfect man.
Heather did a lot of filminf for LAX about 80 miles east of their L.A.
Home, but several nights she chose to stay in a hotel, rather than go
back to the house.
A year earlier the melrose place vet had some serious explaining to do
when she slipped up on live with regis and kelly andstarted to say
tommys name instead of her current husbands - while talking about their
bedroom!
In the same interview, heather even hinted at marital unease,
complaining that during her visit to new york her husband was staying in
new jersey - but didn't come to see her.

Why should Heather join Richie on tour when their marriage is at an End? Wouldn't make sense. Heather was seen on tour with the band.

Ok to make sure I read the post quite well BEFORE I replied Ill say this. While it might have been a slow week in the tabloids , and while a lot of it I AGREE with the lot of you could be really BS, I have to say I might be inclined to beleive it . While I wouldnt want to see a couple like them get seperated and try not to beleive what I hear at all , I am inclined to beleive it. Why? cause Im told through lots of reading and hearing through camps of people Richie has had a girlfreind for years ..and has been seen goin to and fro with a young red headed lady much younger than himself on the road ..on tour and was spotted in public off the road with her . Im also told his WIFE knows about her ( which kinda wouldnt shock me here) given the fact they lead very seperate distanced lives and time with each other would be limited .
Im not to judge if thats true and maybe its " an arrangement" of sorts like so many many marriges are . This is ONLY what I read saw and heard with my own eyeballs and whatever was told through camps of people whom are pretty crediable, so Im goin ONLY with that and thats it
I can beleive Heather attended events with him ( I saw her) but then again who knows? They are human like everybody and well maybe things are rocky . Like everybody I hate to see it happen and hope for the sake of his little girl it wouldnt for the most part . But I guess in some senses regularless of them bein in the public eye who is a person like me to come along and tell Richie how to live his life or whom and who not to be with .
Just sad if its true though ...

Nothing (or at least VERY VERY little for 11 years) and now all of a sudden we're hearing that Richie's got a 'girlfriend' and that they're seperated..

why all this viciousness? Truth is it's a story like any other and it's surprising to say the least because they have been left alone for most of their marriage. To see others suddenly coming out with 'truths' about Richie's life on the road on the back of this is just absolutely crazy.

Time will tell the truth here. It's really none of our business anyway (as we are so often reminded by Bon Jovi.com) however what I can't abide are people who know very little if anything suddenly revealing so called ''secrets'' from Richie's life. That's just downright out of order.

Could it be that you mix up Richie with David? I myself never ever saw Richie with another woman than Heather on tour. And if Heather wasn't with him, he was alone. And I've seen and met him quite a few times. Therefore David usually has a young girl with him though.

As for this rumour, I just think it's a big load of crap. Heather was there with Richie a few gigs ago, right ?
