help please with video from camera to tv

My digital camera uses QuickTime format and it won't transfer onto a cd that will show on my dvd player to see on the tv.

It will record home video but then the dvd player won't accept the info because it is not JPEG pictures but MOV as the file extension.

Any help is appreciated.

You have to convert the mov-file to mpeg/vcd or avi, depending on what formats your dvd player accepts. I don´t know any free softwares that does that. I´ve used TMPEnc, if I´ve wanted to convert mov to mpeg/vcd. But it isn´t free. Go to google.com -> "mov to vcd" and you'll find more info...

For now I just connected my camera to the tv so that's good enough until someday when I can put it onto a cd/dvd like I tried at first.
