wasnt it delayed because they found some songs that they had forgotten about or something like

Quote:
"We'll be releasing an Accoustic Album of greatest hits."
they said they would put some older songs and new songs on there i think

You got that right mate!

And it wasn't lies it was bulls*t! - Elwood Blues! (Joke!!)

Look, pre-internet days we wouldn't have a clue what was going on behind the scenes, all we would know is what we read in Kerrang! or in official statements from the record co/band etc. So think yourselves lucky that we know all that we do! Or not so if you have to pick apart everyting you hear/read. - The fact is, things change, things get put back, new things are added to the schedule. It DOES NOT MEAN they are lying!!

This is getting boring now!

LYING implies an intentional misleading of information, intentional distribution of false information with the express purpose of misrepresenting something.
Only someone who perceives the band's statements as PROMISES OWED TO THEM would perceive the change of plans and eventual non-realities of these projects as LIES.
Seems to me, it's YOUR over-reliance on all things the band says as scripture rather than a general acceptance that **** happens, plans change.
Again, if you're so unhappy, move on.
is this saved as a template or something?

Plans change. If they never told us what they were planning, people would complain. If they tell us what they plan and those plans change, people complain.

Hehehe..you think? First, the setlists were no good. Then they mixed it up and it became Jon can't sing. Then it was that BJ are boring and predictable, so they add an acoustic set. After that it's, we don't want acoustic, too boring.

Damned if you do, damned if you don't.

Now, I still love this band with all that I've got, but please, they have to stop dry-humping us.

It's time for Bon Jovi to start being more reasonable with setting our expectations.

Who's with me?!!!
I think some of the stuff dosen't matrialise because of the record company.
Even the DVD they said we were going to get was 'self-financed'. In other words the record company is not backing them with these projects.
It appears were not getting that, because unfortuately Jon happened to have a cold that night, and so their not happy with the way it's turned out.
As for the box set, it's only been delayed because they haven't hit the 100 mill mark they were hoping for this year.
I do agree about the set lists though. Both Jon & Richie bull shit about how much they change them!

are you actually serious? are you THAT dissapointed in the band? I dunno. Sure they said stuff and did other stuff, but thats life..

"Life is just what happens, when your busy making plans"

Man, somebody should write a letter to the band for being big bad assholes for not honouring their promises /end sarcasm

Could be worse....we could wait 5 years between albums and *GASP!* then you'll have something to complain about.

Good reference! While they may have many ideas in their heads, sometimes it just doesn't materialize. Not because they want to lie to the fans, either. Some people are entirely to critical of the band. Just pretend that there is no internet and then people would be pleasantly surprised at what the band is doing.

One of my biggest fears regarding the "break." Time just slips away, you know? I hope Jon doesn't get all wrapped up in a bunch of acting jobs pushing Bon Jovi to the back burner.
