Default Homebound Train live!?

has anyone ever experienced this song live? new jersey is my fave album and homebound train is in my top five bj songs , over the years i have fantasized about hearing it live many times over ! im sure i read a set list in a magazine back in 89/90/91 and it was on the setlist but no-one can really confirm or prove that it happened! so any old school jovi fans out there can help me? obviously would die for audio of it if it excists , tried on youtube but nothing , so this makes me think its a myth!!!! thanks if anyone can shed light on this . brad

I can confirm it was played in the 80's. I have no idea if it was played in 1991 but I'll try and find out.

It was played live on virtually the whole of the 1988 1st leg European tour: up to approx December 88. I don't believe, from memory, that it was played during 1989 (perhaps once) but after that the next time it was played was in Grand Rapids 2001 and then in Stockholm 2001.

It's my favourite song of BJ, and it's a shame it's not performed live more often - certainly the Giants stadium shows of the last few years would have been a great opportunity to open the shows with this song.

Recordings: many from 88 tour, both Grand Rapids and Stockholm are bootlegged in good quality. Last year BJ released the Stockholm version as a soundboard performance through American XS.

I was there too, and it was great to hear it live. It's not one of my favourites but it was great to hear such a rare song.

My friend didn't like it at all, so she concentrated on taking photos

I thought for sure they did Homebound Train once on the US leg of the 2001 OWN tour. It was in an odd place like Grand Rapids Michigan or somewhere like that if I'm remembering correctly.

Wasn't there a live version available for download via American XS?

Off topic: Is there anybody who can provide me the Soundboard version of Stockholm 2001? I lost it when my hard drive died a year ago!
