and ruin it for everyone else tryin to enjoy the show,

and how about the moorons who insist on singing out of key at the top of thier lungs? i came to hear the band not you! respect others and shut up!

tell me how bj doesnt copy the boss? where do you think he got all his story tellin ideas back in the old days? ive heard bon jovi copy the exact same lines he says! " are you ready, are you willing, are you able?"
every show he says that, direct rip off. and what about the black takamine? that guitar is bruces only acoustic he has every played.
why does bj play that now, or really for like the last 10 years? cuz it sounds good? wrong that takamine has ruined bj's acoustic tone. takamine is one of the worst sounded guitars ever made! twangy trebely, gutless. awful. he sacrifices the whole sound of the band just to play the same guitar bruce does. i love bj, but this is a fact.
To be honest, I don't care wether or not they copy Springstein. I have only heard 1 of his albums (The River) and heard a couple of his other songs on the TV, but I think Bon Jovi are way better than him. For a start, Jon has a better singing voice. I know that Bruce's voice is like Rod Stewarts, or Macy Grays, the husky type, but Jon is better. Also, from the songs I've heard, Bon Jovi's songs have better music, and better lyrics.

I know this is just my opinion, but I don't make insults, or mean it in any bad way, like you seem to. Who cares if they copy someone, everyone has their own heroes, so if they try to live up to them, and end up like them, is that a bad thing? Maybe for those of you who are big Springstein fans, and can spot more similarities, then it may be worse, but Bon Jovi themselves spawned many hairband lookalikes in the 80's. How many are still around today?

same for screaming if girls want to do that - just don't do it during the guitar solos or when jon decides to smile

annoys me

i go to concerts to listen to the music not treat it as a karaoke session, a backing track to sing along to but i still enjoy myself
I've never been to a show, so I don't know how bad it is, but even from the shows I have downloaded/bought, I agree that the crowd are too extreme sometimes. The screaming girls have probably never bought a Bon Jovi album, and just go to look and scream at Jon. It is not fair on the true fans, who go for the music, when other spoil it.

What's up here?

You want BJ to forbid the audience to clap and sing along? What boring concert do you want?

If you just want to sit and listen to the music stay at home and listen to a CD. There you don't have any clappings and other annoying noises.

i'd like to turn this around on you

i go to concerts to listen to the music not treat it as a karaoke session, a backing track to sing along to but i still enjoy myself

if you want to jump about and dance and sing along do that at home or during a local karaoke night

i'm all for audience participation - but you have to admit it can get annoying when people sing along "word for word" verses and all to the songs and (this is where you'll agree with me)

when it comes to Richie's guitar solo everyone just screams there heads off because jon folds his arms or something silly

??

I cheer for them anyways!

they're not unfortunately

you'd be surprised how many of the audiences' eyes just follow Jon during the solos

same here

but not many do

funny really but i've noticed in the pit that you do tend to get Richie's fans on one side of the pit and jon's middle/right

not sure if that's just coincidence but ...
