Umm, no, I can't and I'm sure others can't either. Not with the only guide playing wrong chords and a song where every verse is a different length. It would make it a whole lot easier if we had a sheet with chords, breaks and such. Like a studio session. Maybe even mark places where different instruments come in and out to make it easier to see where you're at.

Everyone who's offered to play the guitar will have to come up with where to play what lick, what chords, stuff like that. If 2 people want to do the guitar solo, you'll both just record one and I'll decide which one fits best.

The thing is, LBOS has lead guitar all over the track. It's not just a solo. There's little licks all over the place, and it will be really hard to get separate licks to fit AND to time them right.

If you're not sure about what chords to use, discuss them over here as Richie sometimes plays different chords over Jon's acoustic chords etc.

Or, we could just have a chord sheet?

Yeah, could be. It's just an indication, it was off the cuff. It's the tryout you're hearing to check whether the sound was good enough, so it's the first take and I thought it was decent enough. Once I've got everyone's parts I'll make it work. I've done plenty of editing and, if necessary, should be able to edit mistakes like these.

I can't play over that. It's really difficult to play right on top of wrong with a good feel. Can you post just the drums so I can play the acoustic again with the real chords and play bass and lead over that?
