Yes i like rock band better! and i do not like buying songs from the downloadable store!

(My characters in rockband include Jon (to sing) Richie (guitar) Tico (drums) and David (for all)) so i guess the downloads would be ok.....i guess.....

I really hope they dont, i hate Rock Band (and Guitar Hero), but if they do oh well, I still wouldnt buy it.

I was planning on doing a post regarding Rock Band/Guitar Hero.... then I saw this utterly retarded thread. I don't even know where to begin with listing my points of disgust with this thread.

I'm only posting in this thread for two reasons:

1. To mention that I do play both of these, despite having formerly played guitar for a good number of years (it's not the guitar in these games that convinced me.)

2. To announce my intention to post a topic about these games. I refuse to associate myself any further with this thread of idiocy.

What the **** happened to this place??? If it's not the grammar, it's the very thinking behind it that just drags it all down to a lower level. I normally think of this place as a group of fairly high minded individuals where a thoughtful discussion can be had about almost anything. I'm glad to see many of these same people that I hold dear are still around...but the rest of you really need to go. Kudos to Ice for stepping up to slap the shit out of these children from time to time.

I love you too, Kathleen. I'm glad you are still here. I've been too preoccupied with everything else in life on top of expanding my horizons musically (disgusting I know, but I just picked up my first Springsteen album, Greatest Hits, not too long ago...) I really needed and still need a long break from Bon Jovi to be able to enjoy them again.

I will certainly take you up on your offer when it comes to Bruce. I haven't gotten that far into him yet (I'm kinda overwhelmed with the influx of new music, there just isn't enough time in the day to devote...where do people find the time???) It's one of those things where I wanted to see what all the hullaboo was about, (which many of these children need to learn to do.) Oh, I do have Magic, but that was cuz someone loaned it to me. I liked Radio Nowhere right off. I find myself wishing Bon Jovi would do something more straightforward and driving along those lines rather than what they have been. It's the lack of new engaging material that has steered me away from Bon Jovi. It's been "oh that one is alright." No "OMG I friggin love this band!" moments and one can dig into the back catalog only so much.

I'm sure the MSG DVD is really going to make me regret skipping out on them yet again.
