Mr. Sambo has a killer rhythm section. Both Tico and Hugh are doing amazing jobs on that.

I've been playing the drums for six years now (I'm bloody good too ) all because of Tico.

It's true, there's not many Bon Jovi tracks that a decent drummer couldn't handle, KTF, Everyday, most of the songs off These days are his most technically difficult but with a few practices they can be pulled off.

Tico has always underplayed in Bon Jovi, he shows brief glimpses here and there of his true ability but you can tell Jon has told him not to overshadow the songs (not a bad thing)

At his peak around 95 there weren't many drummers who could match his energetic hard hitting style live.

So as a drummer alone taking into account his jazz playing (which shows true technical prowess) I reckon he's up there with the big guns.

Nonetheless, I do consider him a good drummer.
I think on the Circle his drumming is louder than on the previous records. Give the songs a power that have been lacking on some recent albums.

Louder and somewhat unusual for jovi, yes. But still pretty simple and predictable.

I have drums and really enjoy playing. Anyway, Tico's beats can be done with a good amount of practise(with a few exceptions).

However, try some of his fills and you look silly. They are absolutely fantastic. The man can do some great things and is very under-rated, in my opinion.

As a bass player I admire Tico's drumming. He doesn't over do it and always makes sure that he keeps time which is the main reason why there is a drummer in every band. He's a solid drummer, but I wouldn't say that he's outstanding like Keith Moon or Ginger Baker for example.

He's good for Bon Jovi, I don't think he's a bad drummer.

Of course, his drumming is a pile of shit compared to Tommy Lee, Sorum or Alex Van Halen.

Hey, I enjoy his drumming. There's just nothing spectacular about it.

And Matt 'One Fill' Sorum is spectacular? Right...
