Tico is well over 60, he wears a nappy on stage because he can't control his bodily functions anymore.

It's all in the documentary

I don't even want to consider either band quitting. Though in all honesty it will happen far too soon

I personally think that Bruce will make music until they drag his cold, dead body off the stage. But I doubt that the E Street Band will continue in its present form after the end of this tour.

I seriously doubt that Bon Jovi will last as long as the E Street Band. Mostly because I don't think Jon wants to tour that long. I also don't think Jon has the passion for music that Bruce does.

The whole thought of this simply scares me.

I've had this band in my life since I was 11 or 12, and while I love lots of music, there's simply no band I love as much.

For what I see happening I think if the Circle is going to be a "mega-tour" it probably will be the last big event, except from whenever their farewell tour is. On that one I expect them to play every pay toilet in the world.

Before then I'd expect maybe a few much more scaled back tours.

But - not touring isn't not making music - and Jon and Richie I do think have a lot more of that in them. David probably has a few more musicals too, and Tico can retire gracefully with a harem of latin supermodels and his paint pot.

Kathleen I get your point about Jon not being as passionate about the music as Bruce, but I don't think it's simply for the money that he keeps coming back with a new album every few years - no matter how it might seem sometimes. And whether successful or not, departures like Lost Highway and TLFR are all Jon's vehicles - so there must be something that's inspiring him in the music.

I honestly can't see them ever really making a "farewell" announcement or doing a tour. My guess would be that eventually, maybe after The Circle or maybe after another album or two they'll take a hiatus and maybe do some solo stuff, bring out another album like The Rolling Stones did with A Bigger Bang, and tour that, then probably go off onto another extended hiatus, with vague plans that will probably never come to fruition that they might make another album someday. I can't see them ever just retiring from music.

And hell, I reckon they've got another few tours and albums in them yet. Plenty of acts still on the circuit that are in their 60s, and Jon isn't even 50 yet. I know Tico and Hugh are both getting on a bit, but a) I'd still they've probably got another 10 years or so in them yet ... Tico always seems in great shape, and it's not like Hugh has to move much; and b) we all know that Hugh is expendable anyway, and I'm pretty positive Tico is probably the second most expendable member of the band ... it wouldn't surprise me if Jon decided to carry on touring without him

When they say they dont want to tour when they are older, they dont know how they are going to feel until they are actually that age..... Look at Bruce bet he didnt think he would still be on stage at the level he is...

it'd be wrong to tour without all of the four remaining original members.

Whaaaaat!?

Replace The Hit man?

Without Tico the band would fall apart, Richie would start boozing, Jon would restart his "acting" and Dave would write more musicals that no one cares about.

It can never happen, never.

Not to mention the fact that Tico is the best looking out of the band!! WE CAN'T LET THIS HAPPEN!!!

Wait...it's only me who thinks that?
