Default How many Marlboros doe Jon smoke?

Does anybody know? You never see him smoking on stage like Slash, Keith Richards, Ryan Adams or Tico.... but he always seems to have a pack handy during interviews.... maybe as he gets older, he'll stop dancing and start lighting up during Richie's solos... then his metamorphis into a crooner will be complete!

Who cares ?

Why is Jon's smoking that important all the time? Nearly all band members smoke but Jon's smoking is always an issue.

Yeah and many people seem to think that when he started smoking (around '97) that his voice started to deteriorate. I don't think that statement is a million miles from being wrong though. It can't have done him any good.

It doesn't bother me that he smokes.... Frank Sinatra, Tom Waits - all the greats do it. It gives extra character to your vocal style.

like the others said it matters cause he`s the singer, anything that kills his voice is of matter for us. you know I don`t care how much he eats and if smoking kills his health it`s really his problem but he should smoke less, he wount get ticos voice anymore so it just kills his voice

Nevermind that it'll kill him. Sinatra and Waits did it so it's okay? Your logic boggles the mind.

I hope for his family's sake he quits.

Also, did you know it's unusual for people over the age of 18 to pick up smoking? Jon's way behind the learning curve on that one.

actually I've seen pix of much younger Jon smoking. So this isn't a new habit. Maybe he didn't become really hooked until he was older due to stress. I don't know how it works, since I don't smoke. My addiction of choice is caffine.
Also in the She Don't Know Me video he is smoking.
