How many Marlboros doe Jon smoke?

He smoked since before. At "Lay your hands on me" video he is holding a cigarrette (what it means he's smoking)... (very early at the song, at the second block of "Lay your hands on me" at the beginning, before pyrothecnics)

Actually no I'm neither his doctor nor his nanny. But I had an uncle who died of throat cancer because he smoked for years. I can tell you for a fact that it's not a nice way to die. So, yes, he is old enough to make his own decisions. It doesn't mean they're the right decisions.

I started smoking when I was 11. And quitting was the smartest thing I ever did. It's not just Jon's smoking that concerns me; I can't condone anyone smoking. It's a bad habit.

I bet you if one of his kids were about to pick up a cancer stick JBJ would be up in arms , dont do it. A lot of parents tend to pack up smoking when their kids head for their teenager years, so they set an example. I and quite a few people I know packed up smoking for this reason alone. Jon has the added reason of his kids. He did stop smoking in the past for periods of time.

But for me it's not because it kills him, it's because it kills his voice. I hate smoking, but only care when people I love do it. I don't want them to die.

I didn't say his choices weren't his. Because they are. Totally. I'm just saying that it doesn't mean he made the right choice.

Yes. It always surprises me that people don't know Richie smokes because there are so many pictures of him with cigarettes from the first photos of the band, all throughout their career.

But apparantly people aren't as concerned about him or Tico or Dave getting cancer. And, yes, Dave has smoked too--you can see him on video on one of the Fairway to Heaven tournaments. But someone said that he said he quit, so good for him.
