i sincerely hope bon jovi dont turn out to be the stones i mean yeah they are good but not that good and imo are abit of a joke these days. mick jagger is singing songs about being a rebel and stuff like that but hes been knighted and is hanging around with the British aristocracy. bon jovi have as much albums left as they have left but i really hope and would be saddened to see themm playing longer than they should be.

As many as they want. I think one thing that should be obvious about this band is that they don't live down to anyone's expectations. They weren't supposed to have continued success after SWW. They weren't supposed to outlast the 80's. They weren't supposed to be able to sell out stadiums all over the world two decades into their career. Jon wasn't supposed to get critical acclaim as an actor. They are the world champions of outdoing the critical (and often fan's) expectations. No limits.

Point noted, But Stones still sell out shows at a couple of hundred bucks a ticket, so obviously not everyone shares your view.

Me personaly, I do not like the stones, but good luck to them if they can still sell out shows.

4 more albums. 4 more tours. They will not be touring 10 years from now.

(just a guess, of course, but I think a realisitic one).

Jon once said that as Frank Sinatra stoped singing and making music he became ill.....so I guess they'll keep making music for a LONG time! Surely 10 to 20 years.

I happened to see Deep Purple in Birmingham (for the first time) a few days back, they were still rockin' like nothing would stop them! I think it'll be the same for Bon Jovi, Jon might have to calm to a bit (if he doesn't want to be called "a joke") a bit less jumping around, and they will still be a fantastic rock act.

Many more albums. I think they can go on for a while. They are where Aerosmith was in the 80's.. and Aerosmith have put out MANY more albums. Plus, they're still a veeeery popular band. Popularity doesn't just fade. But with like "Cher"..and "KISS".. they are mostly over because the popularity left. Bon Jovi will probably be an MTV icon, and I believe, will be in the rock n roll hall of fame.

Bon Jovi has as many albums in them as they have breathe in their bodies.
I can not picture them just quiting the music biz. Just because a band gets older doesn't mean they have to drop out of sight. Like someone said, look at Aerosmith. They still are rocking.
