I can see them losing some fans, but I can't see them gaining many either. The album was barely promoted. How do they expect to gain a larger fanbase? Magic?

Some fans will stick around for that, and other will leave IMO. I'm just hoping the boxset isn't a disappointment.

I think we're all expecting our own little ideal box set, so some will be disappointed.
One of the reasons I'm quite impatient to get it, since there should be stuff from all periods, is to see the evolution of the band in a more "concrete" way, it will probably tell me a little more where they are going. But I guess everyone will have different opinions and we'll have debates and arguments again... I kind of already miss the ones about TLFR
