How Much Talent Does Jon Really Have

I agree to an extent. But it's not like Jon is Justin Bieber, getting by on his looks and other people writing the music for him. Jon has written some of the most well known and popular songs of all time. A guy with no talent doesn't do that.

I didn't say Jon didn't have talent, I said that talent gets you nowhere. It's mostly luck and who you know. But talent is only a very, very small part of it. There are loads of more talented people than anyone in Bon Jovi for example, who will never be famous, who will never records a song or even play in a gigging band, but are still better musicians, singers or songwriters than the guys in Bon Jovi. It's not about talent, it never was.

Even though I can still enjoy the live shows, Jon's talent nowadays is that he relies on his charisma instead of putting himself really into his music. Something is missing and although I had a great time at 2 of 3 shows, it was more about the friends I was with and not as much about the performance as it used to be.
