I don't know why people are complaining about them only doing 3 songs. As if it was there bloody decision! Most of the artists only played - in London some only played 1.
The only thing I was disappointed about was hardly any words from Jon.
Alot of artists made a short speech about the cause whereas Jon barely even said hello to the crowd or thanks for coming! It made it look like they were there for their own benefit rather than for other reasons.

Actually, I thought Prayer was great. He seemed to have sung it the old way instead of the "nasal" way he has been doing it lately. I was surprised, because I am usually bored by this song, but I wasn't this time around. He did have the audience sing the chorus though, but you can't have everything. Hehe

HAND was really good. It was something new, and I give them credit for choosing to sing it to a crowd that wasn't there just for them.

IML did bore me though. It just seemed a bit blah. Maybe I am just getting sick of the song.

The article is harsh. Seems like the dude has a grudge against the band or something because their performance wasn't nearly as bad as this guy made it out to be.

Def Leppard on the other hand...eeek. I thought he sounded really bad.

Prayer sounded good ... not amazing perhaps, but it was at least a little different to normal (talkbox / guitar lick in the second verse mainly). I think Jon sounded fine in it... apart from missing the first line. Not quite sure about the first verse of IML, Jon's voice went a little odd ... And they didn't show HAND on TV, so grrrrr

I didn't get to see them so I don't know how they did, though I looked up their set list. They really need to stop playing Pour Some Sugar On Me everytime they play a televised event.

Perfectly is an overstatement, and once again, he didn't sing the high notes at all.

Yeah, but at least BJ did a better job of peforming Prayer than Def Leppard did of Pour Some Sugar On Me. Not to mention the fact that song is really just dumb. Hehe

I realised that a lot of people didn't interact with the crowd.. except for Robbie Williams and Elton John and a few others.. And from all the other live bon jovi songs i've heard, Bon Jovi basically enjoy's "chatting" with the crowd in between songs. But, it wasn't Bon Jovi's concert and i'm pretty sure they were told to get on, do their songs, and leave. Besides, BJ enjoyed himself very well. To the topic starter.. Yeah sometimes i feel like Bon Jovi is having a desperate leap to stay as a rockstar.. And he's succeeding so stop whinging. I actually cried seeing him on TV because people enjoyed his music; just as everyone seemed to be forgetting him.
