No, he didn't do prayer perfectly.
IML great? nope. boring and spiritless.

Saying so, ur either blinded by his excellence, or have bad case of wax in your ears. Sorry, no offence intended.
Right I just got through watching it again on TV and it's as awesome as it was yesterday. That's the best I've heard Jon sound since 2000. He was absolutely brilliant.

Prayer was fantastic. There was that one really hight bit in the second verse that he could've done better but he didn't miss it and he hit every high note at the end with ease. Fantastic performance, it would've been cool had they done the accapella intro like the bounce tour but hey.

Have A Nice Day was a f-ing awesome performance. Jon really surpassed himself on that one, you could hear the sould, the passion, the attitude and all the emotion in it. Great stuff.

It's My Life was perfect also. Jon sounded full and powerful, not nasal at all and it's the first time, in a long time, where he actually seemed to sing it with emotion. The last few years he seemed like he was just going through the motions when doing it, but he really sang it well this time.

Sorry buddy, your entitled to your opinion but as someone who can easily criticize JBJ's live performances, I'd give him a full 10/10 for that performance. I really wonder if he's been doing vocal training or if he's given up the fags because he really sounds so much better then he has over the last few years.

So you really think that 19 year old male likes LOAP because he thinks Jon is hot? Sure, it's possible that he thinks Jon is hot, but not probable
I'm a perfectly straight male and Jon did look fecking hot yesterday (C'mon, he did) but that's certainly not why I think he sounded so good. That's just an idiotic statement.

I get tired of people assuming that fans only like music based on what the singers look like. It happens all the time, especially to female fans. I can be critical and I am critical when I think it's warranted (ask me about OWN sometime ), but I do like more than I dislike--otherwise, I'd be listening to someone else and posting on their message boards. Liking something doesn't mean you're blinded by the musician's looks. Maybe it amounts to a difference in taste and what you honestly don't like someone else honestly does like regardless of what the singer/guitarist/whatever looks like. It's not fair to assume that person only likes something based on shallow reasons.
I agree 100%. Well said.

What kinda bugs me, and it's mainly about Jovi, other fan circles I am involved in are way more open and critical, is that lots of Jovi fans praise close to everything labeled as Bon Jovi. No slightest criticism involved. As u said, female fans, some of whom raise themselves to "only true fans" won't take any criticism. And they keep on bring up the issues about Jon's divine appearance. And after that, oh he does sing quite well too. I'm all about music, no matter which artist I discuss about. This kissass attitude going on around jovi surely drags even more criticism out of me. Meaning I tend to speak out them minor errors/f**kups too.

Um, I said that already. Of course it's possible.

Even if most fans you encounter are like that, it doesn't mean everyone is and it's not fair to automatically discount other people's opinions based on that assumption.

No, this is about the item of clothing. I liked it as well. You seem to have a complex with looks though.

yes, it is the article of clothing. I'd like it much more if I was in it

I agree with you on this issue but as pathetic as those "true fans" , who can't ever bring themselves to criticize the band are, I still believe they love the music, they're just not objective at all, and for that reason you can't take them seriously. However it is possible to find Jon or Richie hugely attractive and still be all about the music, for them I guess it's a nice piece of pie on the side, but it's ridiculous to discount a persons opinion if it's a positive one. How is anybody who constantly critisizes the band any different from those who do nothing but praise?

I rarely find it necessary to criticize this band, that's whay I am such a huge fan, becuase they never (or very rarely) ever dissapoint. I'm a male fan so obviously my opinion has nothing to do with Jon's looks rather it has everything to do with his abundance of talent.

Fair enough. point noted. Yes i do see your side of it. my view goes back some 20 years, and from my point of view there were times when Jovi did know how to rock and put up a good show. Recently, I hardly even call it a show.
