or what's in them?
you know I have to come back to this cause it kind of bugs me....

I just watched the Philly show again and I am not afraid to say that Jon is freaking hot after all these years ... he might not be able to hit the high notes anymore, and he might have other passions these days, but he still is good to look at.

Deal with it.

Jon might not be able to sing anymore, but he still is hot.

Chris DeBurgh still makes me cry.

Black Eyed Peas make me get up and dance, alone, in my living room.

Scott Weiland still gives me the creeps.

Green Day still makes me think I am 18.

Michael Stipe remains my hero.

Sting puts me back to when I was 13 writing in my diary.

Annie Lennox makes me envious beyond belief.

I still have a hate/love affection thingy for Madonna.

I know why you say what you do and I do agree for the most part, though, seriously who cares why somebody likes who? What's it to you or anyody else?

... music ... makes the people ... come together...

PEACE!!

Okay, an opinion from someone who was in Philly at Live 8. I was not close at all but back behind the horse statue and I got there at 5:45 a.m. in the morning. Most of the folks around me were not really there for any particular act, probably more for the Dave Matthews Band and Linkin Park than anything. When Bon Jovi hit the stage, the crowd went bizerk. Everyone was into it. And though, everyone here is saying IML was boring and unispired that song by far got the biggest crowd reaction even more so than LOAP. From where I stood, I couldn't see the stage at all and had to rely on looking at the big screens which I could also barely see. So, I could only hear the performance. I thought Jon sounded really good. His voice was clear, strong and nasal free.

As far as Jon not talking the show started running behind from the time it started they cut all the acts songs from 4 to 3. I agree, with Lynn (rainsong) that maybe Jon felt like he should just keep his mouth shut. To me the fact that they were asked to perform and did says enough.

Thanks for the review. It is always good to hear from someone who was actually there to witness it firsthand.

You know, I've seen them play LOAP so many times, sometimes I get a little bored *hangs head in shame*, and I'm sure it is difficult for them to make it sound inspired and fresh every time. It was pretty funny the way Jon walked out with the raised fist, lol. He is buff as ever, but I still think he wears his pants too tight. And let's face it, I haven't actually seen Jon SING those high notes for years. I never get tired of Richie's talkbox, though, heh. HAND rocked though, that is currently my favorite. And IML is still fun.

I thought Prayer rocked on the Bounce tour. It was different to previous live performances as the bridge to the chorus was used as the intro to get the crowd singing along before the song kicked in. I think little changes like that now and again make a good change for those who see/hear the performances like you, me and a lot of others from here. Jon's always been a pretty boy and yes he does wear his pants too tight and thinks he;s the works, but if I'd been as successful as he had maybe I would do too. As long as the music is good I don't care about the image really.

HAND rocked! Looking forward to the release. The only problem is the similarity in lyrical content with IML/Everyday, etc. However it might prove to be a little sarcastic like some say. Haven't studied the lyrics yet so I can't really give a valid opinion on that. Love the heavy powerful riff though.

IML was ok, but nothing different really. It's good when its played live because everyone knows it, but it's never really been as good live as it was in the studio, probably due to the effects of computers used in the recording process.
