And that's how opinions differ AALY is utter shit, so is YHMFH and Open All Night. Put there Standing, Another Reason To Believe, We Can Dance, Postcards From The Wasteland and you have a great album (with a different production though)

All about Loving you, Joey, Right Side Of Wrong, You Had Me From Hello and Open All Night are horrible Replace those with Postcards from the Wasteland, Another Reason to Believe, No Regrets, Standing and We can dance and it becomes much better.

Strangely enough I learned to like AALY, and OAN too in some way. What I never understood is the hate towards YHMFH, it's a fine song.

I wish Bounce would be re-released with a good production that it deserves. The songs itself aren't that bad.

Personally, i feel Bounce is the bands weakest album of the decade. A lot of the 'heavier' songs are over-produced - an issue that still plagues them - & a lot of the 'ballads' are weak.

'Misunderstood' is a very solid track - although definitely a pop song. Not a reflection of the musical quality but i loved the video - one of my fav's from the band.

As for 'Alive' not making the album - i listened to it + think 'eh' = i don't see what makes it so good.

AALY and YHMFH are among the wirst BJ songs ever for me and make Bounce sound a lot worse than it really is. And I like Joey very much (even if it is a carbon copy of Levon). The rockers on Bounce are outstanding - Undivided + Hook me up are awesome!

Default HAND Outtakes

I agree it's definitely an a-side quality song- as with many of their unreleased songs though, they take songs out based on how the songs fit together, not always just on how good they are as individual songs.

Have you heard the HAND outtakes? 'Nothing' is an amazing song, I believe it was just ommitted because of it's similarity to 'I Am'. Also, the demo versions of Bells of Freedom and Have a Nice Day are amazing. Both have completely different lyrics.
