How to completely ruin it for a Bon Jovi fan who sells bootlegs she didn't record?

Did you try outing her on the Backstage message board in the past? I truly have seen people blow their tops and a thread go nuts because someone was selling something unofficial and, therefore, making money off the band. Whoever she is, she should be ashamed of making money off the work that other people do, but she's obviously gotten beyond that with no problem. But public shame on a board she probably cares about might make a dent.

Unfortunately, you can't contact bidders on eBay anymore since they've blocked out the names.

What a bitch. This kind of shit makes me mad. I have no clue what you can actually do though. But just wanted to say she's a bitch.

Ive had trouble getting on Dime and downloading etc so I have brought some concert DVDs.... not from anyone in Holland though. I dont know how else to get them and I would rather pay than miss out... by the way I havent paid to much , I see some of them go for a ridiculous amount.... Im guessing perhaps the people that buy the DVDs are like me and have a problem downloading etc otherwise why else would they bother paying for it if they could get it for free.

Dawn, if you can't manage to download then you could either contact a moderator and ask for help, or for Bon Jovi stuff at least I bet there's many people here who would gladly help you out in terms of sending you discs, perhaps just done by you sending them the blank discs and a prepaid envelope to send them back in.

Hmmm.... I have hundreds of BJ bootlegs, as I'm sure many of you do, and I didn't record any of them. You probably didn't either.

Some of my older bootlegs were bought through eBay back when they didn't pay attention to this stuff, like 99-00... I've copied few of mine for some friends and traded others with people I know, people I met, and people on here I think!

I don't see what the deal is with sharing the good things. Making a living off of it is wrong and illegal but I see nothing wrong with trading. God knows that BJ bootlegs are better than any official live thing they've released. Plus, every single one of us would be sick of this band (after sheit like Lost Highway!) if we didn't somehow dig up some new rarities we've never seen or heard before.

I'm with Dawn, if I want them, I'll buy them. Could care less from who.

There is nothing wrong with trading and sharing in my opinion. But since I'm one of the tapers it pisses me off to have someone else making money on something I shared freely - usually on dime.

Bootlegging in general is a gray area but you can stay on the right side of wrong if you trade and share and don't make a profit.

That said - I have bought bootlegs in the past too if I couldn't get them any other way.

i've never actually been to backstage (i get my daily cretin fix on the politics forum i post on) so unless it's someone from around here i doubt i'll know them but what a cuntish thing to do... bust her

That's the part I kinda missed when I first read the post*. I missed that you and someone else recorded these, posted and shared them for free, and now someone is trying to turn a penny on your generosity. Shameless. She should be held under water til the bubbles stop!
