What's weird about it? I've been a fan for 27 years and never met the guy. I'd love to. Ass he may be at times, he's still an idol of mine.

Wagamama in front of the Mandarin Oriental in London when Bon Jovi's is playing Hyde Park. The restaurant of that hotel is one of the best in London, yet JBJ has a passion for cheap South-East Asian food. He'll come eventually

Best way to meet him would be out of the promo showbizz bubble I think as he's likely to be more natural and not in CEO Rockstar mode, but saying that unless you live in NY/NJ or Philly or somewhere where he is involved, then good luck.

I ''met'' him a few months ago, and even though I was standing next to him for a good 5 mins in between segments on The One Show, I must have said maybe 3 sentences to him, just pleasantries and small talk. I didn't want to pester him, as there were 20 other fans there, and he already seemed a bit awkward with that weird show format anyway. Plus if he'd been rude or dismissive back to me, it would have ruined the experience for me somewhat, so I just left it.

But yeah, tv and radio appearances like that are free to attend, and you just need a bit of luck. Don't stalk outside his hotel, you'll just look desperate and crazy. And don't pay big money to meet him on a meet&greet package, it's such a forced corporate artificial environment, and you're just one number out of many and you won't have any meaningful interaction with him.

JBJ - I believe

"Sambora's face is a mask of joyous disbelief, as if previously unaware of his ability to play the instrument at all. Reaching the last fistful of notes, he does a fair impression of a man who is actually ejaculating into his jet black flares."

Yeah, I was surprised how painfully obvious it is how pretty much the entire band still insist on eating there whenever they're in London, while by now they should know there'll always be a few fans hoping to catch a glimpse.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

You don't get to meet Jon at These trips. It's either a photo option which means you stand next to him for 2 seconds with other people until the photo is ready or there is a question and answer where he is on a stage and some People get to ask a question.

Meeting him only works when you are at the right time at the right place.

Apparently we just missed him and his missus at a curry house on Bleeker St in NYC a few years ago. I have no urge to meet him because he's my idol. And I want it kept that way

Absolute plastic. No idea why people like it....but yes, some people do. For a while, that's all I had to eat for lunch....every f*ckin' day, just because my two bosses at that time loved it beyond imagination so I was nodding and joining them. After those 2 months, I didn't touch Wagamama for a couple of years.
