You complete idiot. Hugh is a tremendous musician, you just need to look at the artists he's worked with to get an idea of his calibre. Studio musicians represent the very best of the best, and Huey is no exception. Just because Keep The Faith is the only line you can hear doesn't mean he doesn't have skill. Do you even know what a bass guitar does? Since you seem slightly moronic, I will explain. It is a rhythmic instrument. Richie's solos would mean a helluva lot less without Hugh, Tico and David providing the beat underneath it. Thank you and goodnight.

To the best of anyone's knowledge, Jon doesn't post on this board, so he has nothing to do with this topic turning into something about him. Unless of course you think he has some kind of strange superpower, making the entire world (or at least certain aspects of it) focus on him.

Jon's good points. Let's see:

He's intelligent.
He's driven.
He actually supports the other band members projects and will pay them compliments even when they're not standing two feet from him.
He made sure that Bon Jovi was a band when the record company wanted him to sign as a solo artist.
He's loyal.
He's a philanthropist.
He helps the Special Olympics.
He helps children with Autism.
He helps battered women and children.
He's raised money for and finaced equipment for food banks.
He's raised money and helped finance a health clinic for poor people in NJ.
He's an amazing songwriter.
He will compliment someone who insults him and doesn't stoop to the low levels that some artists do in order to build themselves up by bashing other artists.
He has more class in his little finger than the majority of celebrities will ever display.


I could go on and on, but you know the Biography comes on at 7:00 and I have things do get done before then. Some people, especially on this board, DO post negative things about Jon every chance they get. That's a fact. Anyone who's been around for a while can attest to that. The only difference now is that the trolls aren't as frequently stirring up trouble because most of them don't want to bother to register.

By your reasoning, anyone who works with a respected musician/band, must be talented themselves. This would mean that Keith Richards is a talented guitarist, even though he has about as much skill as Noel Gallagher.

The point SC made was that sacking Huey for going Bald would be hypicritical if Jon was thinning also (come on ppl - he's 40 - I'm thinning on top & I'm 22 ). I think this post has gone downhill somewhat, with ppl chipping in to get responses (He shouldn't be a member 'cos he's going bald?? - Please think before u type). Also, I don't think Huey's ability has ever been in question.

In summary - If u support Huey, sign the petition - If u don't, please stop posting ill thought-out remarks......& try & stick to the subject

you are absolutly right!!!! look at bon jovi, they let alec in for the live stuff, and kept huey in the studios, no wonder he looked like " dicaprio" in man in the iron mask in the beginning, they didn't let him out of the studio.

anyway, to each his own opinion, so that's why we did the petition for. WE want to see more of huey, so who ever agrees with us , just sign the petition.
we just want to let people know how many would like to see more of huey, nothing else.
