I absolutley love Crush and Bounce but...

for me the best work they done was slippery when wet i dont think these days was a good album it was ok but not great

Keep the Faith and These Days are probably my two favourite albums. I also like all their other albums (exept 7800° F.). Sometimes I listen to These Days all day long, sometimes I prefer another album. It just depends on my daily mood.
From the songwriting point of view, TD is by far their best album. But sometimes I just need some easy-listening stuff like for example Crush.
It always depends on personal mood and what kind of music somebody likes or dislikes...

I think TD can't be topped in lyrics depth and songwriting process. You may say it's not that rocking stuff you'd like to hear from BJ but I do think it's that kind of stuff people can relate to. It hasn't that "I'll sleep when I'm dead"-party atmosphere and that's one of the reason they usually don't play TD songs at their concerts anymore but to me it's an awesome album.

These Days is my #1 singalong album. Most of the songs are singalongable and I find myself (of course, only when I'm alone and stuff ) singing to them a lot. So yeah, that alone makes it the #1 Jovi album and #1 album ever. There are no bad songs, some just require a different mood to enjoy fully. Like Diamond ring, which I hated a few years ago... Back then I absolutely loved If that's what it takes. Now I think ITWIT is one of the weaker songs and Diamon ring is brilliant. Funny how things change... Definitely an album that will stand the test of time.

these days is my favourite jovi album too,although i don't know
whether i agree that it was their peak,i think bounce will turn out
to be a classic album,and anyone who was at sb,will surely agree
that live,the band just get better and better.

still the best? yes. drop Diamond Ring and add All I want Is Everything, Lonely At The Top and Wedding Day must keep If That's What it Takes. Overall cd ratings have changed a bit as well

It's hard to pick a favorite album cause theres so many songs that i like but the there is an odd song or two that i don't dig. My pick is New Jersey tho.
They probably have peaked in their career but they still make good music(not many bands can still do that). I enjoyed HAND very much!

I totally agree with you here, I never compare an album to a previous release. How boring would Bon Jovi be if every album sounded the same!
