I love the song, as I love every song on the New Jersey album.
It is a little boring live, but I like how they've been doing "Going to the Chapel" over the outro to cover the screams on this tour.

Oh I love that song!! I was in love when I discovered this song and she loved it as well.

The best live version I've heard (bootleg) was from Jan 4, 1990 London, Wembley Arena. They played it quite often on Jersey tour.

Sadly Seb is right that it isn't what it should be live now. Even in the 80s it sounded quite different compared to the studio version.

What I like about this song are the lyrics. It's not about a girl who doesn't want some boy (the singer), or left him or whatever. It's about a couple in love who has problems with the society (in general). This time the problem is her parents. It seems to me like one of the Tommy and Geena themes. Just my guess...

I saw a video on Youtube, this song live, with the "going to the chapel" back in the 90's too. So did they do that part often?

I love the NJ album so much.

As far as I know, the "chapel" is Jon's new invention on this tour. I haven't heard it on any of my bootlegs. Can you give the link please...?

Glad to see another NJ lover. The best album ever!!!!

Actually, I think I stand corrected. I think it was a 2008 one. I watched two back-to-back and may have got mixed up. Well, I can't really be botherd to watch them both again. So I'll post you both the links, somewhere abouts I heard something about the chapels. :P

and

And "Sleep When I'm Dead"..pray for it.

Thanks! Actually I know them both. The one from Chile is the second best performance of that song!!! And the audio from Japan this year has the Chapel Of Love piece in it. So I was right. But to be honest, the Chapel Of Love is a nice addition to that song when Jon can't sing it as earlier.

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE SONG! One of my all time favourites, great guitar work, powerful vocals(I love it live!) and emotion. Love it!
