It's pretty obvious people don't like it, but why?

I geuss everybody got their own reasons. For me every BJ album got 1 or 2 songs i dont like. Crush has got 1 ok song for me and 1 good song.
For me it is way to overproduced, and i geuss i miss the rawness of the earlier BJ album if you know what i mean. Ijust don't like the album and i think its a pop album. All other BJ albums had something special as a whole or like TD in the songs. Crush doenst have both.

just because of how different it is too the old stuff... old being only a few years earlier, not necessarily the 80s...

KTF and TD were different but they were still great albums by a great band...

since then (not as much now but still true) jon's voice has weakened, and the new songs have less and less musicianship on them... none of those classic guitar solos of Richie's and indeed Bounce has usually just been a few notes strummed very fast, or just octave soloing... plus dave has had much less contribution... and while Tico is still on the top of his game they are not utilising his talents enough and instead go for modern drum machine rubbish...

image aside the above pretty much sums it up

I don't care about what technology they use to record the songs, or if Jon's voice has gotten weaker, they still are better than the other musicians today.

Some of the songs from Crush and Bounce have strong lyrics, and some good guitar solos too.

If you don't like the new stuff, don't listen to it. I only got into Bon Jovi over the last 3 years, so maybe my opinion is different having heard the new stuff first, but I still love the old stuff too.

I got the Girl is a good song IMO. It is an upbeat rock song with a great bridge & is surprisingly good live.

I think it is the lyrics that tend to put alot of ppl of - But I think it is one of the better tracks on Crush & I have voted for Good.
