Just my sarcastic pessimism kicking in. They consistenly play that song on national television appearances when they could be promoting NEW material instead: The Today Show, Saturday Night Live, The VH-1 Awards... I generally cringe whenever I watch something and they go into that song. I've even walked away and just recorded it for my archives rather than be annoyed by it. It really bugs me when they play that song in the 2000's when they could be promoting new material. It does nothing to dispel the idea that they're an "80's" band.
