Yeah, um, I definately don't remember NSync having lyrics like that. Then again, I don't listen to NSync, but I'm surprised you do.

You're relatively young, I wouldn't expect you to recognise the hilarious lyrics in Everyday. You young whippersnappers speak like diss everyday.

'Yo bro, here's da 411. Yo' gonna pass me dat can o' soda or am gonna open up a can o' wup ass on ya.'

LMAO

Everyday's lyrics are nothing original, I agree with you there, but I don't really see what's so funny about them. It's not one of my favorites off the album anyway, and I don't think it should have been the first single... or any single at all for that matter.

Well, I'm often considered a very cunning linguist, having one of the biggest and most extensive vocabularies and writing styles in my school. I often begin to ramble off with my sesquipidalian words and people have no idea what I'm talking about, which is often a downfall because it's difficult to take me seriously as a result of this. However, this also allows me to scrutinize other works, such as song lyrics. Firstly, I agree, I don't think N*SYNC has ever said anything like that. Sure, it may be along the lines of a pop cliche, but I don't think it's a bad line. Actually, it sorta just fills some space in the chorus because they couldn't think of anything better, which is fine--no song is fullproof.

Now, true, when I listen to lyrics in many pop songs (especially punk and ska songs), I can't help but groan at the ridiculous lyrics. People just aren't creative anymore. It's a large weight off my chest knowing that there are still some inquizative minds out there like those of Bon Jovi.

And in my defense, as well as us other youngins', if someone called me their "411", I'd make one eye exscrutiatingly large and the other real small, sorta like Bond does when he's in deep thought, and then walk away in intrigue, wondering why I had recently been deemed a number.

And 'round these parts, we don't call it "soda"...it's simply "pop" (sorta ironic I suppose). I think it's just a tradition of our city. People think I'm crazy when I request a soda (which I sometimes do...again, refer to the earlier paragraph on details regarding my line of thinking). So that's rather excusable.

But, even though the theme is rather repetitive in Bon Jovi songs, I like the lyrics of Everyday. They're infeasable times better than those of some "modern music sensations".

sure its no "Keep The Faith" or another "Slippery". But i think it´s good, KFT and Slippery and also NJ stand for it´s own !!! Crush, Bounce, stand on it´s own in a new century !!!
Well just like everything else, Bounce is a musical product and you can't expect everybody to like it. I would think in this board there are a number of people who love it, a number of people who hate it and a number of people who are ambivalent towards it. If you like it, more power to ya. I think Bounce is just so so - I like some songs, I hate some songs, but if there are people who totally hate it, they're entitled to their opinions. Especially if they purchased the album and were not happy with it.

I think this board is not deluged with negative posts (contrary to what some people believe here). There will be negative posts, and there will always be positive posts. The negative ones are not wrong by any stretch of imagination; I'd rather have it this way than having a moderated board that must have people kissing the band's asses all the time and say that the most recent musical output is always 'the best'. Band members can say that because it's part of the business (promotion), but fans do not have to agree with it all the time.

Hello, is there anybody out there?
I'm alone hanging by a thread
Everywhere around the world
Everybody's waiting for someday
Calling out around the world
Maybe someday might be tonight

Another Bounce fan here. It contains a good number of good songs. Everyday is one of the weaker songs on the record.
