Some girls were saying to me the other day that Bon Jovi was Jon and Jon Bon Jovi was the band, i told them it was the other way round but would they listen...no!

Sorry to wake you up but without this big ego it would have been a bit hard for him in music business and it would have been hard to get a record deal.

If anyone ever asks me what sort of bands I'm into and I say Bon Jovi, I always get a reply like... "Oh, yeah, he's alright", or "No, I don't like his music."
It gets a bit annoying after a bit!!

i thought it was only in France you know this country BJ won't come and where we don't know them

I think that we are lucky in Quebec, because when we say BJ, people usually understand its the band...( well, the people I know!) except my mother, which sometime think BJ mean Jon's...

on that point, i've got to confess that I had a good laugh two month ago when I describe the Bounce concert to my mother( who's 45 now), she said Jon is getting even more attractive with the years. She actually said she found him beautiful... like if she would have admitted that when I was thirteen years old and having by JBJ crush! well, I guess my mother prefers the short hair Jon instead of the big 80's hair Jon!

Back in the early stages of my fandom, I thought Bon Jovi and Jon Bon Jovi were two different things. As soon as I found out that Jon was part of Bon Jovi, things started making more sense. To this day I have been telling people that Bon Jovi isn't just one man- IT'S A BAND.

Here's a typical diologue between me and a friend:
Friend: So, what kind of bands and artists do you listen to?
Me: Well... mostly Bon Jovi.
Friend: Are you kidding? I LOVE Jon Bon Jovi!
Me: It's not a him. It's a them. They're a band.
Friend: Well, I still like Jon the most.

Ah, what can you do?
