Aloha !

I tried playing and singing this on the acoustic yesterday and have to say that it works very well. It just sounds too forced on Keep The Faith. Now the big question is, will Seb ever sing the song for one of his feature girlfriends?

I don't think so.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

Why not? It's not a horrible song it's just sort of middle of the road-ish. And I think playing it acoustically might be just what it needs. It could transform it from a cheesy almost wanna be ballad to a nice simple acoustic love song. There's nothing wrong with a simple love song now and again.

Unless, of course, you don't play for or sing to any of your girlfriends

it does sound great on acoustic.

the only shit part about it is the chorus is really high in the register

Aloha !

I don't care. Ever since I started to sing properly and started to learn how to use my voice I've learned how to downtune a song in A incredibly fast. Blood On Blood, Always, This Ain't A Love Song, I Want You. All sound brilliant in A when I sing them.

Salaam Aleikum,
Sebastiaan

The intro to 'I Want You' and Def Leppards 'When Love and Hate Collide' are virtually identical.

I don't love the song but I do think it's a shame it hasn't been played live (apart from that acoustic time).
I would've loved to see it switch places sometimes with some of the many ballads 95-96 tour had.
