It would be cool to hear a lot of the KTF songs. I'd definately love to hear I Believe, Fear, Dry County, Little Bit of Soul, etc, although like you've all already said, Jon's voice would struggle with a lot of those kinda songs.

dont think the song is anything above average im afraid, lyrically its just a little naff.

there are heaps of songs bj have done that are better than this, why not play those live?

Possibly the weakest song (along with Fear) off KTF.

Well maybe it's not a Dry County or a Keep The Faith but I wouldn't call it weak. And yea I agree with Walrus, I'd say Woman In Love in my opinion is weaker than If I Was Your Mother.

I totally agree!! I made a thread about this awhile ago. If I was your mother has to be one of their best songs!!! My friends and I rock to this song all the time. One time a cop stopped my friend while we were driving and when we were pulled over we thought we were done for, at least for a noise polution ticket (we were cranking it) The cop asked what happened to the music, and I swear guys "I love Bon Jovi, turn that shit up".............hahahhhah

I think the weaker songs on KTF are If I Was Your Mother, Woman in Love and to some extent I Want You. Having said that though they are still good songs, it's just the exceptional quality of KTF which probably makes them seem weak.

I don't think they're trying to be poppy...a lot of people keep saying that! For me BJ it's still THE band!!!

But anyway, If I Was Your Mother is one of the hardest BJ songs....Richie's pulling out that riff on the beginning of the song it's amazing, I always put the stereo on the highest volume on that riff!!!
IMO, JBJ would have to cut his balls off to sing this song live nowadays!!
If they ever play this song again, I bet it's going to be an acoustic version!!
