Has it been done since 1993?
As far as I know, it was only done 2 times live. Both in 1993.

Quite frankly, you shouldn't sign up to a forum dedicated to an artist if you are not aware they're a band rather than a solo artist.

If I Was Your Mother is a great song. I remember hearing it on Radio 1 on the Simon Bates show before the album had been released. He previewed 4 or 5 songs, 1 each day i think, so it was probably 5, and i must admit when i first heard the riff i didn't expect it to be a Jovi song. I was well impressed and i remember him saying how KTF was such a progression from the last 2 albums. High praise indeed as Radio 1 hardly touch anything Jovi related these days ffs.

TELL ME WHAT I GOTTA DO TO MAKE MY LIFE MEAN MORE TO YOU

It's killer.

the correct lyric is "love don't get deeper than a mother and child"; but yea, a fab bridge within a great song.

No it's not - it also doesn't make sense to use the word 'love' again after the previous line. Have a listen to it a few times and you'll see that kenobi_on_a_prayer was correct.

Great song though and I would have loved to have seen them play this live - shame I was only 10 and hadn't even really heard of Bon Jovi by then let alone been able to attend a concert in another country!

Very good song...I love the production of this one and of the whole KTF record. Very rock.

I think this song shows how much Bon Jovi matured between NJ and KTF. Its got raw production, the sections, and the harmonies are amazing, not typical, and most definitely not cheesy. You can't call it a bad song. A perfect warm up to Dry County too XD

In my opinion, the worst song of the 90's for the band. I can think of so many better songs to make a thread about....
