This reminds me why I don't come on here too much anymore!

IIWYM is a heavy song for Bon Jovi and even by many band's standards is a heavy rock song. All Bounce had were dropped-D guitar tunings, special effects and "faked" distortions but IIWYM had a clean, but heavy guitar sound. To be honest, it's what I always traditionally associate with the Sambora-patented guitar tone.

It's definitely a standout track for Jon's voice and I think it was a good message for KTF since c. 50% of the album was a fair departure from the sound of the previous albums and this one, although also not sounding like the old songs, kind of made a bold statement that they still rock(ed)!

"weak", like it or not, is definitely not an appropriate word for the song.

You Had Me From Hello... now that's "weak"... she's a mystery, 99% of Lost Highway... Who Says You Can't Go Home... they're all weak!

I think you will find that was sarcasm - like me saying Woman In love was the best song on KTF.

The 10 seconds from the bonus track where you have "... put the boy" and then 2 or 3 power chords, just up to the point where the country twang "redneck wannabie" kicks in.

hey hi pal
To be honest with you and only you, I dont like the song that much,(Musically) i dont know why, i mean i dont hate it or something i just dont listen to it, but the lyrics are great

Just an example

and i think The album KTF is great from start to finish, there are no filler tracks there

It just made me feel bad when someone says "If i was..." is a "weak" song, or that "Fear" is not heavy , then that really annoys me, but i dont take it personal

Even "Blame it on the love of rockn roll" i enjoy it
and "I want You" God i really love almost all the album!!

And i agree with let it rock comments

But really is foolish to compare albums of the same band, is not the 80īs anymore
