If Slippery When Wet was a 12-song album...

I know I go against the majority, but I hate that song with a passion. Never liked it for some reason.

Interesting. It's only one of my favorite songs ever, with one of the best guitar parts ever, but diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks, eh?

I don't hate it, but it's nothing special for me. Prayer and You Give Love A Bad Name are better songs.

Not the first time I've heard this opinion. I have a friend who I've converted to liking Bon Jovi but he hates Wanted so much. His favorite songs are Dry County, Homebound Train, and Love's The Only Rule oddly.

They may have similar subject matter, but Social Disease isn't even in the same universe as Bad Medicine. In fact, for my money it's the worst song they've ever put on an official album.

Homebound Train is one of my faves. Dry County is good, but I can't listen to it over and over.

Wanted is one of the few songs I refuse to listen to. I have to skip it, or else I'd smash the stereo to pieces.

I would add Bordeline, Edge of a Broken Heart, Out of Bounds and get rid of Without Love.

And by the way, it's unbelievable how many people dislike Social Disease. For me it's one of the better tracks on the album.

How can anyone hate Wanted?!? Am really struggling to understand.
If it wasn't for Wanted, no one would ever call Bon Jovi a rock band. It's the song that made them stand out from the crowd in the 80s....by a mile. My all time favourite song by any band.

Have you never listened to Fast Cars?

I quite Like Social Disease...just saying. As for Without Love, that's a great track. Very underrated. One thing I've never understood is Wild In The Streets being the last song. It just don't work IMO.

11 sorry, being honest haven't heard too many good Slippery out-takes. I like Out Of Bounds so I'd be happy to include that somewhere if it was recorded for Slippery. When was River Of Love written/recorded?

And it's interesting you say that, cause I actually think Wild In The Streets might be their best album closer, or at least in a 1-2 race with OWN. But I prefer having a rocker close the record, as opposed to a slow song.
