I'm all for rockier closers, I've just never quite liked Wild in that spot for some reason lol. I guess it has the bombastic drum ending which ends things nicely though.

I just think with this particular album Goodbye fits so well.

Cant understand the hate for" social disease" ! and definitely don't get the love for "edge of a broken heart"
Have never rated it and never will do

Agree with both of your points.

I cringe when I hear 'Edge Of A Broken Heart'. It just does nothing for me.

I don't know why Without Love is so unlinked. I love it so much. On the other hand, I reckon I'd Die For You is very over rated. Would much prefer Without Love than Id Die For You.

Interesting. It's quite the opposite for me
I think Without Love is ok but nothing special and I enjoy the hell out of I'd Die For You! But I usually fall for songs with a nice keyboard riff in them...

Can't agree with that. Water, I Want You and What's Left of Me are better songs IMO.

Social Disease is pretty ordinary. Which might be your point

I've always wondered about the Aerosmith-thing - how they supposedly wanted to have the song, but BJ kept it.

1. Why would they hold on to such a crappy song? Did they ever play it live? I never got the impression the band liked it all that much as well.

2. Why would Aerosmith want it?

3. How would Aerosmith even know about the song? JBJ and RS weren't exactly well known hit-writers back then.
