A solid, decent track. I like it. A very typical Bon Jovi song.

It's funny, it's just the other way around for me. "If that's what it takes" is just as important of my love to BJ as LOAP or IM or DC or whatever.

Heart's Breaking Even is alright, not as good as If That's What It Takes though IMO. Too Aerosmith - esque (not that that's a bad thing ... in fact Cryin', the song that HBE sounds really like, is one of my favourite Aerosmith songs. It just doesn't fit Bon Jovi entirely comfortably)

I remember this song sticking out when I first bought These Days. I have other songs one the album I like more now but this song was my first favorite of These Days. I repeated that mid-section to death.

Edt:
For some reason I wasted to mention that I randomly used sing "whooo hoohoo, ohh yeah, I'll do anything you wanna do baby if it's me and you" while walking".
I'm abnormal I know.

Agreed!

One of/If not my fave song from These Days. The structure,Outro,Jons vocals are all perfect.

Great song, But not "the" Best on TD. I don't know if anyone else here posts at Bon Jovi.com, but there they have a thing where you can ask Obie O'Brien (bon jovi's recording engineer) a question. Well, I asked him what his favorite Bon Jovi album was and he answered TD. Cool huh?
