Default If there was another support concert....

Not that I wish there were to be, but if another natural/man made disaster were to happen again and there was a support concert to raise money and aid do you think the band would settle their differences whatever they are and play together for this?

I don't see why it being an aid concert would make any difference whatsoever to any other kind of concert. These aid concerts nowadays are a bit of a fallacy anyway, it's not like the original Live AID anymore, nobody really cares.

Jon loves good publicity. The majority of people that know that richie isn't in the band are bon jovi fans. Playing in one of these concerts would show the world that the band has crumbled on its 30th anniversary

As this tour has shown, most people do not care that Richie isn't there, even when they are aware that he's missing. The majority of the public wouldn't even notice, never mind care.

I don't think it would make a difference. I'm sure Jon, Tico, and Dave would show up for the cause, but I don't think it would be a reason for Richie to join them. What would be telling is if Richie was there playing with a different act as a guest but failed to join Bon Jovi on stage.

It's funny how the concept of Richie Sambora being an actual musician, being in-demand and in touch with other bands, seems so strange now. The last couple of months have shown him to be neither into music as much as he claims, and the Aftermath-affair has had him make some questionable statements regarding other musicians (especially getting young guys in the band, for one - does he really think these are his peers?).

He seems more like a movie version of a rock musician than a proper one nowadays (which is fitting, considering his last guest spots on other people's work, unless I'm mistaken, were on American Idol-stuff, him being the token "rock guy contribution")

No! Richie would put his own solo show in LA and after it doesn't sell he'll claim all proceeds will go to charity.....

Technically Richie and the AMOL band are playing a charity/fundraiser in LA on the 26th and IF the rumors are true JB (not sure if alone, KOS or BJ as it is now) will be doing a fundraiser for Prince William's housewarming. 8K a plate.
I said yes, but it would have to be a major, commonality joining event and I hope nothing that tragic happens to find out.

I think it's a little bit unfair to insinuate that he's only 'claiming' the proceeds went to charity, I'm sure they actually did.
