No one is asking a person to NOT post their opinion. We're only asking that if a person is talking about the new album or new songs that they make it clear in their subject line that that's what the post is about so those who do not want to read other people's opinions can avoid those posts. It's like posting on a soap opera, television, or movie board--it's common courtesy to post SPOILER if you're discussing something that not everyone has had the chance to see/hear.
A person could post a subject heading "I think" and then tell what they think of the CD or say that they think that the Crush DVD was better than the London DVD. "I think" is not a very clear indication of what is in the post. "My review of TLFR" is pretty clear. Or "SPOILER: I think" would make it clear that the post is someone's opinion of TLFR.
It's very much "fair" to ask to be shown courtesy.
