me too I love his version of Ilbtfy and prefer it to Jon singing it but I wish he would sing his own songs or at least a nother jovi song not the same song every tour

Sigh - said this about a dozen times. Richie is great at singing this, and on the LH tour better at it than any other time I've heard it. But IBTFY is a powerful ballad, and I don't think he has the "rock" voice for it - it becomes much more soulful with Richie singing it.

To the guy who commented on the Crush tour DVD - Jon's voice was pretty much shot throughout that show, and especially by the end of it. His voice on the LH tour was a million times more superior.

Personally - and as a compromise - I'd love to hear both Jon and RIchie do this with just acoustic guitars. How wicked would that be.

Otherwise, I want Jon back singing it - or at least maybe Jon one show, Richie the other.

I'm happy to have Richie singing songs, but I've heard him doing this for 5 or 6 years now man. Give me a break.

As long as Richie doesn't sing These Days, he can sing anything he/the band likes.

Jon should do it I think. It would be great to see Richie sing one of his solo songs though like Stranger, Ballad of Youth, One Light Burning, Made in America, etc. He's got some good solo stuff.

Richie sings it good, but he should change it for other songs, because while he sings it again I want to vomit... I don't know, they have a hell lot of songs, and he's got his own stuff, but no, he has to do There 4 You and Stranger...

To be fair though he hardly ever does Stranger In This Town either, though.
