I hit "skip" on Bon Jovi songs on my mp3 player all the time. Sometimes I'm just not in the mood for them or for certain songs. I do enjoy the randomness of the shuffle setting though. I might listen to something from an early CD because I haven't heard it in years. I don't listen to them "all the time" or every day or even every week.

I got sick of them during TLFR. I didn't mind the album, but they didn't tour or do anything else until HAND so I just started listening to U2 again. Vertigo was a good tour by the way.

I don't, or haven't, experienced it like you have - when I'm browsing through iTunes or looking through the iPod, I just put on what I'm in the mood for. I've never had a period when I was bored by any artist - sometimes I want a different genre, or something I just bought.

I've had Lost Highway and These Days in the car for ages, and have never skipped a track on them (even with Clapton in there too ).

I've been listening to bj everyday since 1995. if i'm listening to a song and i get tired of it i simply change the song, not the band. they have so many songs that i enjoy so i've never felt like "i can't listen to bon jovi now!"

Nope, never get that feeling.
Now, I listen to plenty of other bands, but there's almost always a Jovi song that fits my mood.

I wouldn't say I can't listen to Bon Jovi at all, but I do go through periods where I listen to them less or get sick of particular songs. I liked Lost Highway when it came out (and have managed to like it again) but it was so overplayed on the radio for 2 months here in the lead-up to the Aussie tour that I simply could not listen to it on the album anymore. Hearing it live was great though! And since that show I haven't been able to get enough of them (though it's mostly Youtube that I'm getting my fixes from).

But it's good to listen to other artists or genres. Opens your mind a bit, y'know.

Man, just before the tour I had a LONG break from them. I was getting sick of them, even when I'm bored of them for a week or so I listen to at least a couple of songs a day but this time I wasn't listening to them at all. Motley Crue had saftely taken over as my favourite band.

This happened for ages so I kinda accepted that Bon Jovi had been replaced by Motley Crue, even though I only had like 3 Motley albums I listened to them a lot more than Bon Jovi (and my last.fm chart showed that).

But about 3 days before I went to the Coventry gig I started listening to them like mad and at the moment I'm only listening to about 3 Crue songs a day. But this happens with all my favourite artists, I get Def Leppard and Pink Floyd weeks and then weeks when I'm totally bored of them.

But yeah, Jovi are still my favourite band. Motley Crue have been put in their place
