I like you but I honestly don't understand why you have him in such high regard since his decline has been very similar to Jon's. He can't sing, average guitarwork and mostly uninspired albums. He definitely must approve the path BJ has taken since his solo album is very Bon Jovi-like (with a little more guitar work since he's a guitarist after all).

Isn't it boring to play "Because we can" while having songs like "Dry County" oder "Hey god" in the repertoire?

In an interview you admitted that the guitars on "What about now" could have been a bit louder. Why weren't they?

Close to the question before: Why are there no big riffs in the songs anymore? So often you only play chords. Don't you feel underchallenged?

Before you left the tour, you were in such a good shape, played different versions of solos, improvised a lot - so you suddenly had the feeling that you needed to be home?

My questions are consistent, many fans want to know when you are recording the new solo album. Fans wants to know if Orianthi will join his band. And of course, we want to know if someday Richie will return to join the band (Bon Jovi).

Where is the high regard in my questions?

My questions can be easily answered.

Being in a band like Bon jovi that's sold 100 of millions of records and sells out every show on every tour, it must be a strange feeling when your album (Aftermath) flopped sales wise, solo shows were canceled and then you were dropped by the label. How's does that feel? Does this make you stronger or do you feel that people are only interested in Bon Jovi and not Richie Sambora? Does that bother you??

You said you left the Bon Jovi tour to be a parent again. You are now touring Australia so how's that work with your daughter being in USA?

( this is not meant to be a malicious question just like to know his thinking)

I do not love everything he does, but at the end of the day, I still like his new songs. Richie has had only three solo albums, and for me, are interesting enough to want more of this.

All those questions questioning his "time with daughter" lie, are gonna get discarded.

I'd take the chance to ask questions about his records: Are old songs gonna come out live again? Why does he discard so many songs from previous albums each solo tour? (Jon did that too). Can we expect some Stranger in this town songs again?

When I did interviews, I liked to get the most unpleasant questions out of the way first, so neither I nor the subject had to think about them again!
  1. Is there still a Bon Jovi?
  2. Are you and Jon still friends?
  3. Will there be at least one more Bon Jovi album with you fully involved?
  4. Did you feel badly about not being there when Tico got sick?

Considering the chorus of In These Arms was from another song you had written, it seems you sometimes write more or less complete drafts of songs that then get the band treatment. Is that the case? If so, did any of your solo songs (other than Rosie) or song ideas start out intended for Bon Jovi?

Since you were doing a lot of "old tunes" in a semi-acoustic and bluesier rendition live, is that something that's hinting at what your songwriting is at right now, or was that more to mix things up a bit?

Is there a particular song you've written that you felt never got its due, be it commercial or in terms of fan / live response? Has that made you reconsider future songwriting or tracklist-picking decisions?

Safe your first solo-album, you always had songwriting collaborators. Is that more of a professional thing, that you get guys like Richie Supa to flesh out some of your ideas a bit and make them more accesible, or do you feel the need to bounce ideas off of ideas during the songwriting process?

Speaking of which, you have had many longtime collaborators over the years. On AMOTLD, there were some new names. What makes somebody click with you as a songwriter, and how do you usually recognize it?

What made you pick Luke Ebbin as a producer? Bernie Taupin is known as a lyricist, but what made you choose Luke Ebbin as a co-writer as well as producer?

Are there any special plans or wishes for potential future co-writers, however unlikely (not impossible though - no John Lennon) they might be?

As a guitar player, do you feel your approach has changed over the years? How do you typically approach guitar work for a song nowadays?

Do you usually write "in your head" or are you more likely to jam away at an instrument to get a song going?

Was there a particular moment that reaffirmed your decision to leave the tour and concentrate on other aspects in your life?
