Pretty much all of his first solo album was actually written by the bass player. Also, take a look at the writing credits of the Europe albums he's played on. Or his solo albums, for that matter!

If I were Jon, I'd pick me.

but if i had the choice of any guitarist it'd be Satchel. Guy's a machine!

I'd get my coolness back and stop worrying and have fun on stage oh and the guitar player would be Slash (thought Richie made many mistakes when I saw him)

OR

I would figure out what I really want to do AND put my heart and soul in my music no matter what other people think about it and get someone into my band who I can make great music with.

But since I don't know Jon I don't really care or want to be in his shoes and only want to enjoy the music again the way I used to.
